Review: ‘Sense and Sensibility’

Sense and SensibilitySense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The first Jane Austen novel I tried reading was ‘Mansfield Park’ and I found it desperately dull. To my disappointment I thought that Austen was just not ‘for me’. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I absolutely loved ‘Sense and Sensibility’. It had me hooked from the first page, eager to find out more of the happenings of the two sisters and their beaus. The humour in it is also fabulous – I was laughing away at many lines, especially from Mr Palmer! A must read for all!
